HOW TO ATTACH AND POSITION YOUR FREEDOM LIGHT

When you receive your Freedom Light, turn on the light. It will work straight out of the box. On the bottom of the solar panel will be an ON/OFF switch and a light detector. Place your finger over the detector to check that the light is working. It should shine immediately, but in the event that it does not light immediately, push the ON/OFF switch and repeat the process of covering the light detector. Prior to mounting the light onto any pole or wall, make sure the solar light is turned ON, and that you have removed the cellophane cover from the solar panel. Thread the fastener strips through the mounting bracket. Attach he Freedom Light to the flagpole. There are screws enclosed should you want to attach the Freedom light to a wall on deck or porch. Utilizing the gooseneck arm, position the lamp to illuminate the flag. As the sun’s position moves during the year, it is recommended that you adjust the solar panel so that it is aimed at the sun at midday. In spring and fall, adjust the direction the solar panel faces.
